Waldbauer and Waldbaur

Both branches have common ancestors.

Especially those persons are searched with ancestors comming – but not only - from the following cities and villages:

The todays writing of both the family names is unchainged since appr. 1800. Before there were many variations
like Waldtpaur also.

The oldest common ancestor - Jung Jörg Waldtpaur – lived during the 16th Century. He was a shepperd at Dagersheim (a quarter of the city of Böblingen today). Persons known resp. found until now are descendants of his sons

Georgius, borne at Dagersheim on September 30th 1590,

and

Jacobus, borne on March 11th 1593.

Many emigrants are known, almost all found a new home in America.

Johann Friedrich Waldbauer and his wife Anna Maria Jäckle emigrated to Polen (Prussian Polen that time). This is confirmed by a document, refer also to emigrants b) and c), please.

The whereabouts resp. the destiny of the following persons and their descendants are still unknown. Their ancestor is Johannes Waldbauer * 11.02.1791 at Schöckingen/Württemberg/D emigrated to Bessarabia ( Moldavia ).
